"From the very first phone conversation with Ray he put my mind at ease and I knew he was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He came to our rehearsal and provided music so that we all knew the cues and what songs we would be walking out to. I have never been at a wedding where the DJ does that and our coordinator said it was the best to have. Everyone loved Ray at our wedding. He stuck to our playlist while also allowing guests to make requests which was so nice. He was so professional and so personable! "Ray is just an amazing person to work with! He is professional, prompt, energetic, happy, easy to talk to, and his DJ skills are everything we wanted for our wedding and more. He was in touch with the other vendors at my reception in order to keep the timing of the night and make sure everything went smoothly! He worked wonderfully with the reception coordinator and other vendors. Most importantly, he knows how to read the vibes of the dance floor, and he knows how to keep the party going. I was on the dance floor for my entire reception because the music was so good and everyone was having a great time! When the night was over, a lot of my guests came up to me saying that they didn't want the night to end and asked if DJ Ray was coming to the after party! We couldn't have picked a better person for the job. Plus, he has an amazing DJ voice, which just completes the package 🙂 If you want a good time, and you don't want to stress about the timing of things, hire DJ Ray. You will not be disappointed!!"

"This is our 1st review, but 2nd time using Timing is Everything and Ray Der for our wedding reception needs. From the excellent service and reception (friends still tell us it was the best wedding reception "party" they'd ever been too) Ray provided us 6 years ago, we knew to reach out to Ray for our daughter's wedding. Because of COVID-19, the elaborate 150 person event that was planned became a small 30 person immediate family and few close friends wedding and reception in our yard. Ray put us in the excellent hands of Chris Luciano and we could not have been more pleased. We knew working with Ray and Chris, we had one less thing to worry about for Emily's big day. We worked with Chris on the timeline and gave him a list of suggested songs...but of course all that changed as the evening went on and Chris never missed a beat. He perfectly blended all the 'requests' he was getting to keep the dance floor (ie: our deck) crowded with dancing. Once again, Timing is Everything has helped make our reception "one for the books!""

Prior to meeting DJ Ray Der of 'Timing is Everything Event Entertainment', we weren't totally convinced that we needed a DJ for our wedding reception. We were under the impression that we could easily cue up a setlist on cousin Geoffrey's iPod and let the music do the work for us. But after meeting with Ray, that illusion was utterly shattered. Ray was warm and professional and had a slew of documents ready for our review. He ran us through sample timelines and asked questions about dozens of small-but-significant details that we hadn't even considered. He was able to answer our questions about everything from cake cutting to reception length to lighting placement. He made terrific recommendations for the arrangement of our schedule and gave us realistic ideas of what to expect from each leg of the day. When we left for the night, he encouraged us to meet with other DJ's and to contact him if we felt he was the best fit. Although we did meet with a few others - all of whom were talented and professional - we knew from that first night that Ray Der was the only DJ for us. He met with us two more times leading up to the big day, each time armed with more questions and answers about each of the particulars that would make the day our own. He joined us at our (weeknight) rehearsal to introduce himself to the parents and the wedding party and to survey the venue. Come the wedding day, he arrived hours ahead of schedule and had everything set and ready to go for the reception almost two hours before the ceremony. He carried us smoothly from one leg of the day to the next and kept the energy up. Our dance floor was never empty for a moment, and we are told that he even stayed an hour after our departure to keep the party going for our family and friends who wanted to continue dancing. We cannot say enough about Ray and the monumental impact that he had on our day. We were blessed to have found him and we were so thankful for the multiple roles that he took on for our benefit. We couldn't have asked for a better emcee.

Chris Luciano provided an absolutely stellar service as a DJ for my wedding. He wasn't just the DJ but the man in charge of our wedding day. Six months before our wedding day, he met with me and my fiancee at the time for some prep. Guys, if you are at all involved with the planning of your wedding you will quickly find out how stressed your future wife will be. Chris knew exactly what to say to put my future bride's worries at ease. On the actual day of the wedding he delivered on all of his promises. The DJ is one of the MOST important parts of your wedding when you think about guiding the flow of that day. From the first introductions to the last dance, Chris Luciano was on point. There was the extra curve ball of my family needing some Latin music. Everyone danced the night away and had a great time. Most importantly, my wife loved her wedding day in large thanks to Chris and The DJ Brokerage. I HIGHLY recommend!!!!.

Chris arrived at our reception and set up well in advance of the beginning of our wedding reception. He was very attentive to our many wants and needs, and held true to our requested "play" list/"do not play" list. He was very easy to work with and is very experienced; he knows what works and what doesn't. Chris planned things out with us well in advance so we had no issues or surprises on the day of our event. We would highly recommend Chris to anyone needing a friendly, experienced DJ for an event.
