Timing is Everything Event Entertainment is based out of Timonium, Maryland. We have been part of the Baltimore/East Coast scene since 1993. Whether it’s a Wedding, Corporate Event, Fundraiser, or a Party, we cover all of them. We pick your tunes, or work off your playlist, once you’ve picked your package, your event will be one to remember. Maybe you’d like some uplighting, pipe & drapery, or a photobooth? Timing is Everything Event Entertainment can provide those and more. We’re always happy to talk to you to bring your dream event to life!
More than just music
Our services branch beyond the typical DJ setup. We provide additional services such as karaoke, photography, videography, aerial videography, uplighting, photo booths, face painting, and even a hypnotist to enhance your experience. Whatever venue you are hosting, we want it to be something you remember for the rest of your life and our team is here to go to work.
Meet Ray
Ray Der is the founder and owner of Timing Is Everything Event Entertainment. Since 1993, he has been part of the Maryland scene as well as traveling the East Coast from as far north as Boston to as far south as Miami Beach Florida, and as far west as Texas. He specializes in private and corporate events, averaging approximately 200 a year.
Most notably, he was one of the house DJ’s for Bohager’s, Fager’s Island, and Greene Turtle and he was also on tour as MC for Hawaiian Tropic for 3 years. From corporate events to the club scene, he is known for his versatility in music. From the 50’s to today’s top music, he has integrated his MC work into mixing music of all genres.
Along his professional journey, Ray has learned from some of the best MC’s and DJ’s in the industry such as Steve “The Rock n Roll Doctor” Cochran, Mike “DJ Batman” Beatty, DJ Danny Breeze, DJ Nick Sid, and DJ “Lucky” Luciano. He worked for Luciano’s Entertainment for 16 years and then moved on to open his own brand with Timing Is Everything Event Entertainment in 2009.
